Celebrating Local Life To Foster Community And Sustainability
In Your Hood is a school project designed as a quarterly publication dedicated to promoting all things local. Each issue highlights a specific neighborhood, showcasing small businesses, events, and community activities to foster connection and support.
The publication also emphasizes sustainability and creates opportunities to uplift those in need.

The project also extended into creating an online presence for the magazine, broadening its reach while reinforcing its focus on sustainability and uplifting the community.
A small but impactful feature of this publication is its flexible identity.
The O’s in the logo are replaced with illustrations inspired by New York City, with each issue introducing a new design to keep the identity interactive and playful. A bold, handmade red illustration was chosen to create contrast and add character to the brand’s overall aesthetic.
